Cindy Burrows was born in California and grew up in the Pacific Northwest. She now lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband, son, two dogs, two cats, and one horse. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from Arizona State University, and teaches writing at the high school level. Her work has appeared in The Greensboro Review, Short Story Hawaii, and various literary journals
